How transparent and informative are the websites of local self-governments in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti?
Local self-government authorities of the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Region communicate with public through their websites ineffectively.
Parliament is currently discussing changes to the law on broadcasting which would result in the sacking of the current board of the Georgian Public Broadcaster, that would be replaced by a smaller Board of 9 people, appointed under new rules.
Employees of the "Zugdidi Cleaning" used firearms to kill several street dogs on March 30 in Zugdidi. The incident was eye-witnessed by citizens, one of whom has provided mobile photos to the Zugdidi Office of Transparency International Georgia (TI Georgia).
