Mamuka joined Transparency International Georgia in 2011. Currently he holds the position of media analyst and works for the project concerning with media environment in Georgia.

Mamuka obtained a doctoral degree from the University of Saarland (Germany) and a master’s degree in European law from European Institute of Saarbrucken. Prior to joining TIG, Mamuka has worked in Erich Pommer Potsdam Media Institute (Germany), Ministry of Justice of Georgia and in the committee on European integration in Georgian parliament.
