Mariam Bezhanishvili joined Transparency International Georgia’s team in February 2023 as an administrative assistant. Prior to that, Mariam completed a three-month Office Internship Program at TI Georgia and was actively involved in observation missions during the 2020 Parliamentary and the 2021 Municipal Elections.

Mariam graduated from Tbilisi State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations. She has gained experience by being an intern at TV Formula and worked on fact-checking for the Media Development Foundation. Mariam has several years of experience working and volunteering in the non-governmental sector. She has a number of publications and conference papers on significant topics of international relations.
