Head of the Agency of Protected Areas failed to declare income and 6 real estate properties

Head of the Agency of Protected Areas Davit Iosebashvili failed to disclose his salary and 6 pieces of real estate in his 2022 asset declaration.
Iosebashvili and his wife, Nana Kechkhuashvili are in possession of 6 undeclared real estate properties:
- Apartment in Tbilisi, Emukhvari Street – 40.0 m2 (ownership)
- Apartment in Tbilisi, Emukhvari Street – 95.50 m2 (ownership)
- Apartment in Gori, Nadiradze Street – 71.90 m2 (ownership)
- Land Property in Gori, Village Dzevera – 13,033 m2 (ownership)
- Land Property in Gori, Village Dzevera – 4,047 m2 (co-ownership)
- Land Property in Gori, Village Dzevera – 2,097 m2 (co-ownership)
The Agency of Protected Areas is a legal entity under the Ministry of Environmental Protection. Iosebashvili was appointed as agency head in July 2021. Before that for 3 years he headed the Inspection Department at the Agency of Protected Areas.
Transparency International Georgia calls on the Civil Service Bureau to look into Iosebashvili’s asset declaration and respond to violations in accordance with the law.
