During the advocacy visit to the U.S., our Executive Director Eka Gigauri and her Deputy Giorgi Oniani, Head of ISFED Mikheil Benidze and journalist Nino Zhizhilashvili held meetings in Washington with the German Marshall Fund (GMF) and the USAID, where we discussed the upcoming Georgian parliamentary elections in 2020, problems in the judiciary, corruption and media challenges, as well as campaigns against the civil sector through the use of social networks.
