MP Shota Khabareli failed to disclose 4 real estate properties and businesses
Shota Khabareli, a Georgian Dream representative in the Parliament of Georgia, did not disclose 4 pieces of real estate and 2 companies in his 2022 asset declaration.
Since 2012, Khabareli has been a member of the Georgian Parliament and was among those who voted for the adoption of the Russian style law on ‘foreign agents’.
Shota Khabareli is in possession of 4 undeclared real estate properties:
- Land plot in Dusheti municipality, village of Chanadirebi: 2108 sq.m
- Land plot in Kareli municipality, village of Dzvelijvari: 9465 sq.m
- Garage in Tbilisi, Chavchavadze Avenue: 61.11 sq.m
- Apartment in Tbilisi, Chavchavadze Avenue: 141 sq.m
MP Khabareli also failed to declare two companies:
- Olimpi LLC - 33% share (management rights transferred to Mamuka Khabareli).
- This company, in turn, owns the company Olymp Plus LLC (100%), which is also not declared.
As a public official, Shota Khabareli is required to disclose all relevant information in her declaration. It's worth noting that in 2018, the Civil Service Bureau found violations in Khabareli’s asset declaration.
Transparency International Georgia calls on the Anti-Corruption Bureau to look into Khabareli’s asset declaration and respond to violations in accordance with the law.
