Gocha Mzhavanadze joined “Transparency International – Georgia” in July 2022 and works as an analyst in the Batumi office currently.

Gocha holds Business Administration bachelor’s academic degree from Batumi State Maritime Academy and Economics master’s degree from Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. He was a scholarship holder of the President of Georgia, during his bachelor’s and master’s studies. Gocha has completed Public Organizations Management special course of Zurab Zhvania State Administration School and holds a certificate of Georgian Election Administration’s officer.

Gocha has 8 years work experience in the public service and 1 year work experience in the non-governmental sector. At different times, he was an intern and invited specialist of Supreme Council of Autonomous Republic of Ajara, state procurement coordinator of Batumi Botanical Garden, economist and head of material-technical provision department of Batumi Greening and Landscape Planning Service, deputy director of Batumi Boulevard, senior specialist of economics and statistics department of Khelvachauri Municipality City Hall, temporary member of Khelvachauri District Election Commission and researcher/contributor of „Squander Detector” project of Government Monitoring Center.
