Transparency International Georgia (TI Georgia) proposes to monitor political finance during the 2013 presidential and 2014 local elections in Georgia. Monitoring will be held on issues of the abuse of state resources and campaign finance. The abuse of state resources for election purposes has been identified throughout the country at all elections held, despite the existence of special state monitoring agency - Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF). In campaign financing it is obvious that legal framework does not provide appropriate oversight mechanisms and transparency.
