The Anti-Corruption Bureau has revoked the decision made against "Transparency International - Georgia."
04 October, 2024
On October 4, the Anti-Corruption Bureau informed us that its head, Razhden Kuprashvili, has officially revoked the decision granting special status to "Transparency International - Georgia" and its Executive Director, Eka Gigauri. As a result, both the organization and its director are no longer bound by the status that had hindered our ability to monitor elections.
This decision nullifies all obligations that were unlawfully imposed on us due to the special status.
With this unlawful decision reversed, we will resume monitoring the October 26 parliamentary elections under the name "Transparency International - Georgia."
